First Review of

                   The first review of On the Grid came out in the News & Observer on May 9, and I was very gratified to see it receive not only a good review but a good review from a trustworthy source: physical chemist and book reviewer Phillip Manning, whose scibooks.org is a trusted source of information on books about science. With the piece on Saturday's op-ed page about the communications grid and Mother's Day,  I'm hoping Triangle readers are waking up to the miracle of the grid surrounding them. If not, I'll keep trying. 

By the way, don't forget -- reading Wednesday night, May 12, at Regulator Bookshop in Durham. Hope to see you there!
